SQL Server News:
Retiring Support & Product Launch


On April 8, 2008, Microsoft will retire Mainstream Support for the following SQL Server 2000 editions:
   » 64-bit Edition
   » Developer Edition
   » Enterprise Edition
   » Standard Edition
   » Workgroup Edition

After this date, Microsoft with no longer offer no-charge incident support, warranty claims, and design changes and feature requests for these products. Also, in order to continue your non-security hotfix support, you will need an extended hotfix agreement, which must be purchased within 90 days of mainstream support ending.
