Business Objects Products Nearing Support End Dates

As a Certified Migration Specialist, Golden monitors the Technical
Support Lifecycles of Business Objects' many product suites.
On December 31, 2007, WebIntelligence 6.5 and Crystal Reports 10 will reach
their "Patch Support End Dates." Business Objects will not
develop new
Hot Fixes, Service Packs and Maintenance releases after this date.
Also on December 31, Business Objects 5.x will reach its "Interactive
Support End Date," which means that Business Objects Customer Assurance
will no longer provide interactive assistance for this product.
If your organization relies upon these products, let Golden help you plan
your next steps in light of these support end dates. As a
Migration Specialist for BusinessObjects XI Release 2, Golden
can help you implement BusinessObjects XI
or Crystal Reports Server XI to ensure continuity in your business intelligence
growth.

Sanitation? Poverty? Vote for the Next Insight Challenge

Business Objects Insight forum connects
passionate number crunchers with the collaborative tools
they need to solve the biggest challenges facing businesses and social
organizations today.
In October, the Insight Americas user conference concluded the Carbon

emissions produced by the total round-trip travel by attendees to reach
the conference — a whopping 7,605,592 miles!
The next challenge begins in November, and Business Objects has narrowed
the topics down to four important global issues. It’s time to tell them
which issue you would most like to tackle:
- » Clean Water and Sanitation

Showcasing Dashboards at CCM Expo

On October 24, Golden showcased Report and Performance Management tools for
municipalities while exhibiting at the annual CT Conference of Municipalities (CCM)
Exposition in Hartford, CT.
Golden team member Jon LeBlanc
offered product demos to show attendees how Business
Objects tools can provide executive dashboard views of key performance
metrics that disply data from reports across an organization. Attendees
were especially interested in the Planning & Budgeting applications, which
allows organizations to create, manage, and understand budgets ranging from
the simplest department to an entire organization’s financials.
